The Master. · Brazil × Indonesia
Savory and silken with a quiet, confident structure — the kind of cup that doesn't need to raise its voice.

Three Worlds. · Americas × Africa × Indonesia
Velvet-bodied, beautifully round, and quietly dynamic — three continents folded into a single, lingering pour.

Black Midnight. · Colombia × Guatemala
Spice-forward, unapologetically bold, and full to the very last drop — built for the hour the city goes quiet.

First Light. · Ethiopia
Juicy, luminous, full of bright stone-fruit — a sunrise that arrives in the cup before it touches the windows.

The Sweet Ritual. · Brazil
Dark cocoa, toasted hazelnut, and a cookie-dough warmth — the small daily indulgence you'll keep coming back to.

Santo Domingo → The World, Roasted Fresh.
I'm Melvin Florian — born in the Dominican Republic, raised between two languages and one unshakable ritual: the morning colao. My abuela measured coffee not in grams, but in memory. The whole house would wake to the sound of her greca rattling on the stove. That sound is still the first thing I chase in every roast.
Loving coffee wasn't enough. I needed to understand it. So I traveled to the source — but the real breakthrough came when I found a small-batch roastery in the Pacific Northwest Thanks to this incredible partnership, we can bring fresh beans from heritage farms across Ethiopia, Guatemala, Brazil, Colombia, and Indonesia — roasted with precision so "fresh" is not a marketing word, but a guarantee in every bag.
D for Dominican. La — the article we use when something is precious, singular, the one. Together: deliberate, distinct, devotion. A small Caribbean word for a very big promise.
Nothing sits. Nothing waits. Every order is roasted on demand by our partner roastery and shipped within days — so the cup you brew in your kitchen tastes the way it did the day it left the drum: alive, aromatic, unmistakably fresh.
"I wanted to build the company I wished existed —
the freshest beans, the boldest flavors, the proudest cup."Melvin Florian, Founder & Roaster
